AVALIAÇÃO DO BIOCARVÃO PROVENIENTE DA PIRÓLISE DA CASCA DE BANANA PARA APLICAÇÕES EM SOLOS AGRÍCOLAS

Esta investigación evaluó las características del biocarbón producido a partir de la pirólisis lenta de la cáscara de plátano para aplicaciones en suelos agrícolas. Se utilizaron dos condiciones operativas con una temperatura de pirólisis de 370 °C y velocidades de calentamiento de 11 °C/min y 35 °C/min. Estas condiciones se determinaron con la ayuda de un modelo computacional utilizando el software Chemkin. Los productos de pirólisis se caracterizaron en términos de potencial de hidrógeno (pH), conductividad eléctrica (CE), capacidad de intercambio catiónico (CTC), morfología, área de superficie, relaciones atómicas C/N, H/C y O/C. Los resultados mostraron una estructura alcalina con un pH de 12,60 y un CTC de 511 mmol/kg, adecuada para mejorar el suelo. El aumento de la velocidad de calentamiento de la pirólisis resultó en una mayor estabilidad del biocarbón debido a las bajas proporciones atómicas H:C, mientras que los aumentos en el área de superficie y el número de poros fueron evidentes. En general, las características encontradas en los biocarbón producido demostraron una aplicación viable en suelos agrícolas como enmienda del suelo.
