The compatibility of the Rule of Law and the State of Exception: or how the rules of the game are broken with the rules of the game

The Market has, in these days, given all the cards: any movement of governments takes into account their likely reaction. On the other hand, irrespective of the formal expressions of the sovereign: the people will understand, after all, that their wishes can not undermine governance - something that the Market, everybody knows, does not give up. The Market establishes and breaks all the rules. We live now in a State of Permanent Exception commanded by the Market – that, sovereign, decides on the advisability of suspending or spiteful elusive constitutional order. The current Rule of Law has been manipulated by the Market, which uses it in order to make their illegal and illegitimate actions legal and legitimate. With the support of the constitutionally established powers, the Market break the rules of the game with the rules of the game.
