"ARTE E CULTURA REMOTA PARA OS SEUS OUVIDOS"
UM ESTUDO SOBRE A PERCEPÇÃO DE OUVINTES ACERCA DE UM PODCAST LITERÁRIO
Abstract
The purpose of this study - part of a Scientific Initiation piece of research at the high school level - is to investigate the audience's interaction with the podcast "Arte e cultura remota para seus ouvidos" produced by the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, so as to understand its potential contribution with the development of critical reading and critical thinking (FREIRE, 1989). The podcast, which is available in streaming platforms, aims to promote reflection regarding literary works authored by women by presenting debates and discussions with its presenters, specialists and guest authors who are part of the episodes. The audience of the podcast was invited to answer an online questionnaire containing nine questions regarding their experience of listening to the discussions of the episodes. After data collection, we conducted a comparative analysis of participants' answers in order to highlight converging and diverging topics and themes. Participants' answers highlighted the dialogical nature of the debates and the multiplicity of visions brought by the participants of the podcast. Thus, the episodes seem to promote critical reflection by presenting different perspectives and readings of each book, possibly eliciting critical dialogue among its listeners.
