Fittings and disagreements in Florianópolis (1890-1930)

Abstract

This article tries to show the motivations for the expressive changes undertaken in the city of Florianópolis by occasion of the passage of the century XIX to the end of the third decade of the century XX. Those transformations were based on ideologies as the positivismo, the cientificismo and the bourgeois ideals with your peculiar forms of seeing the world. Here I will give focus to the family ideals, of work and health and the as that reached the poor classes.
