“Pandemia” de sessenta e oito:
lutas e historicidades do movimento estudantil na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina
Abstract
This article proposes an analysis of the student movement at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) during 1968, a period of significant global and national unrest. The study will investigate the antecedents, dynamics and impacts of the demonstrations at UFSC, highlighting how the local context reflected and, at the same time, shaped the political and social events of the period. Using primary and secondary sources, the research aims to understand the specificities of student activism in Florianópolis and its role in the fight against dictatorial repression.
In a mixture of narrative, sources and criticism, the article proposes, in addition to thoroughly studying the student movement at UFSC in 1968, a reflection on the historiographical narratives of student struggles of the period, adding new interpretations to the facts, and in the historiographical field.
