Not rural nor urban: a little about the rural world in the middle west of Santa Catarina

Abstract

While peasants join with their lands and seek for elementary alimentation and their survival, since 1950, the modern process around productive fields on the middle west of Santa Catarina accelerate. Here, focusing on rural space of Concórdia, understand that model and connect with two development projects around this rural area while discuss with capitalism, is possible shown or list some aspects about this link. Nevertheless, comprehend this history to indicate one rural life model in transformation, plural, as long as this modification hasn´t been absolute.
