Women activists in the Brazilian Military Dictatorship: a look at motherhood in hiding

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the experiences of the catarinenses Derlei Catarina Luca and Rachel Felau Guisoni during the period they were in hiding in order to understand how both within the organization where worked the left, the Popular Action, considering that this recommended to his members who had no children, they decided for motherhood. Through oral sources and autobiographical book 'In body and soul' look will still realize that this choice resulted in the experiences of these women and militancy during underground.
