Politics(s) of nationalization and integralism in Antonio Carlos: brazilianization?

Abstract

This article is the result of the thesis presented in 2012 at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. The survey that was conducted aimed at understanding in what way(s) the Nationalization Policy(ies) and Brazilian Integralist Action happened in city of Antônio Carlos. Among the analyzes made we seek to understand how they are perceived by people who experienced it, somehow, that moment. It is intended, therefore, to realize how the influences of the Estado Novo and the period slightly anterior to it, could be felt in a place so geographically close to the capital, Florianópolis.
