The construction of identity Catarina: efforts to legitimize the German culture and Azorean culture

Abstract: This study is an issue, potentially relevant to the memory of the inhabitants of the State of Santa Catarina: it reflects the construction of their identity in the face of ethnic disputes encountered in the course of its history. Although the state constitute different ethnicities, some ethnic groups overcame culturally other to establish an identity Catarina 'homogeneous'. We start with a question to write it: How homogenizing a people in a state marked by cultural and ethnic diversity?
