Written memories: the chronicles of former students of the Colégio Coração de Jesus in its centenary

Abstract

This article, grounded in the historiography of the present time, seeks to understand the ways of writing memories, practices perceived amid the centenary of the Colégio Coração de Jesus in Florianópolis, SC. These memories reveal moments of youth and allow life readings that are exposed on the pages of the newspaper O Estado amidst the celebrations. Thus the ways in which memories were counted and highlighted, as were organized and used in festive moments of this research are of interest in view of the wills of the past has shown that this commemorative present.
