Abstract

The movement Tropicalia, of the 1960 and 1970´s decade, was studied for being considered innovative and daring in a period of dictatorship in Brazil. The critic of this movement, however was extended also toward the nationalistic left who detained the resistance to military regimen. This article aims to study how the tropicalistas’ musicians were received in the city of Florianópolis in the period of lauching of the LP Panis et Cincenses, through the diary “O Estado”.
