Ideas of progress incorporated in Franklin Cascaes’ work

Abstract

This article intends to develop the argument incorporating modern elements, which represent the idea of progress in Franklin Cascaes’ work, when at the same time there is a denial of these same aspects and a nostalgic vision of the past by the author. What characterizes the innovation of the stories narrated by Cascaes is the hybridism of these two aspects within the context of memory report and critical memory.
