Abstract

The German immigrant communities had been established in South of Brazil since the late XIX century; they maintained strong characteristics from their mother land, constructing independent nucleus, in terms of culture from the nation where they used to live. Instead, the political changed in Brazil during the 1930 and the aggressive international conjecture between the European Imperialists powers, especially during the II World War, disturbed the relationship between the German immigrant communities with the Brazilian Government, with its nationalization politics. In this article we will analysis the commercial relations with Germany before the War, the change of Brazilian position towards Germany Government and the Nazists, and the Nazis ecumenical Project of the Nazi's Part (NSDAP) on the foreign colonial nucleus and the conflicts resulting from this political project.
