Dois tipos de nazismo: o caso de Santa Catarina

Abstract

The article proposes an analysis and following comparison between two manifestations of Nazism in the history of the state of Santa Catarina: its existence as a political party in the mid-20th century, and its reemergence and rise in the form of neonazi groups in the 21st century. Based on documentaries, news reports, and expert bibliography, the article presents possibilities around the motivations of the adepts of the nazi ideology, looking to expose the differences between both mentioned manifestations, and to understand the transformations of Nazism in the recent history of Brazil.
