Industry 4.0 and the supply chain in an automation company in the vale dos sinos: a conceptual map proposal

Accompanying the development of a new concept, called by the experts of “the fourth industrial revolution”, while it is still emerging, is a great opportunity to foresee the changes that can arise by such an event, especially in the processes that involve the supply chain, vital process for the survival of organizations. In this context, the objective of this work is to propose a conceptual map that allows the analysis of the impacts of the Industry 4.0 in the supply chain of an industrial automation company, identifying which technologies and concepts will impact the processes and what opportunities these innovations can bring to concepts already consolidated, as well as help in solving the problems found in the current chain.Downloads
