um estudo a partir de relatos de catarinenses
Abstract
During the period of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), as observed in the other dictatorships of the Southern Cone, torture was a widely exploited element by the national security forces, to obtain information and attempt to demobilize the opposing movements, usually starting with nudity. In Santa Catarina, this movement was no different, however, for the most part, the kidnapped from Santa Catarina were sent to torture centers located in Paraná and São Paulo. This article, therefore, aims, through reports from people from Santa Catarina, to expose sexual violence as a basic category in the application of torture, aiming that, for the most part, sessions were initiated by forced nudity, expanding the concept and questioning the impunity and authorizations of violence through impunity and disregard for it as a social issue.
