Abstract

Initially following the contributions of Robert Slenes in “In the slave quarters, a flower: hopes and memories in the formation of the slave family” (1999) in the face of the constitution of slave families in Brazil as an important form of resistance to the slave system, this article seeks to propose a reflection on the possibilities of questions and problematizations about the slave family and the crony relationships in Lages (SC).
