Contested historiography: Reflexion about the discourses and representations of the subject active on the Contestado War

Abstract

The general purpose of this article is to analyze some speeches and representations concerning the operating citizens in the Contestado War (Guerra do Contestado). It is not my intention to make another narrative of the events, but to reflect about the consolidated speeches by traditional historiography.
