Study and analysis of OEEML Indicator applied in a autoparts company
Keywords:
Performance Management, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Overall Equipment Effectiveness of a Manufacturing LineAbstract
The industry has been transformed based on new philosophies of work and tools since an industrial revolution. What we see today in the market is a big competition between companies and this makes the search for a customer throughout the year to ensure the quality assurance increases more and more. Moreover, for the competitive price, the best that exists is the same or even eliminate waste, i.e. excluding what does not add value to the production process. With this, companies seek the database and performance management tools to measure the evolution of a process. Thus, the OEE is an indicator that measures the efficiency of an individual but is not even sufficient to drive the overall improvement of the production system when it involves interrelated equipment. This article had as its theme the OEEML presented as a derivation of the OEE that, besides the losses of availability, performance and quality, considers the unknown losses in production. The research method was made in manufacturing cells and divided into six stages, as follows: (1) Preparation stage; (2) Preliminary information about a company and a cell; (3) Monitoring in the production cell; (4) Data collection plan; (5) Loss identification for OEEML and (6) Loss identification. Thus, the result is the same as the OEEML, it is presented as an indicator that analyzes a real efficiency of the productive process studied, as well as the value of the line.References
