Limites políticos do esforço novo-desenvolvimentista

Abstract

This article aims to contribute to a better understanding of the political limits of the new-developmental effort of the Dilma Rousseff government (2011-2016), highlighting the political orientation of the measures adopted and the class contradictions that determined their frustration. Thus, we will emphasize how the configuration of the power bloc and the long pattern of reproduction of capital that serves as its structuring base, at a moment of reversal in the growth cycle of the world market and the domestic market, constituted the ultimate determinants of the incapacity of the economic policies adopted established a new short pattern of capital reproduction based on the strengthening of the large Brazilian industrial bourgeoisie.
