Abstract

The agrarian configuration of modern Brazil has as one of its pillars the violation of the right to land of indigenous peoples in a broad sense. In this context, this paper will specifically examine the violation of the right to land of the Guarani and Kaiowá, going through the historical analysis of this and its relationship with the current scenario of massive violation of the fundamental rights of said people. In this way, it aims to elucidate the way in which dependent capitalism acts as a primary and essential agent in this situation.
