Authors

Abstract

The text is a review of the book by the argentinian historian Alejandro Olmos Gaona. The work, entitled “Debt or Sovereignty”, deals with issues related to the public debt of Latin American countries, taking the Argentinian case as a special object of analysis. The author explores important historical facts that frame the growth and illegitimacy of the debt, as well as questioning legal assumptions, which have a strong appeal international and which undermine the sovereignty of peripheral countries.
